Mechanic in Carroll Gardens Area
Hello All,
I really need to find a good, reliable, reasonable mechanic for a domestic car in the Carroll Gardens Area. I stopped by the service station on Atlantic, but the guy was so mean to his employee's im not sure i trust him to be good to me either.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions, its greatly appreciated!

Excel Motor Works in DUMBO (at the end of Cadman Plaza/Fulton St. under the BQE) are knowledgeable, honest and fairly priced. I've been going to them for years and everyone whom I referred was very happy with their service. They do inspections too.

Lorenzutti in the Slope is terrific! For 5 years I bounced around in the wilds of Brooklyn looking for help w/ a 1984 VW van. Someone on here recommended Lorenzutti so I tried them - more reasonably priced & definitely more knowledgeable than anywhere else. Also fast & pleasant.

It's a little farther, but I implicitly trust Atros Mechanics. They've honestly served both my very old Jeep Wrangler and new (after warranty) Nissan Pathfinder. They moved from Bergen and 3rd to 29th & 4th Ave, but it's not a bad walk back & forth after dropping off the car for service. Ask for Mike or Jerry: 1.718.643.0707.
