Kingsview Coop + Ashland Place
Anybody who lives or ever lived there? Do you think it's a good place to buy?
The square footage is quite cheap comparing to all the other condos built in the neighborhood.
I am just concerned about safety. Would it be safe to walk at night since it is so close to the public housing?

I think would be fine but I don't live around there but seems like quiet little spot. I would sugggest going at night and look around. Walk to and from subway entrance,etc. Also with all the new bldgs in construction nearby there will be substantial more foot traffic on Flatbush all the time.

i know someone who lived there. i visited in the evenings - never had a problem leaving late night. great prices - considering what new buildings are going for.

call the local precinct and ask them. theyre very helpful in that sense.

wow, i see a listing of a 2 bedroom for little more than that studio coop of the day on s. portland. Ovbiously this is not the treelined brownstone street...but does have nice grounds and they say own security monitoring.
