Bathroom Reno?

Pondering redoing my upstairs bath. Would welcome any contractor recommendations based on recent work. Have seen a few in the forum but any more thoughts from the community much appreciated.

8 by 15 or so, with some moving of stuff - loo, shower. Adding washer/dryer and a radiator. Glass shower wall and usual tiling/painting. Don't want lux, can do the aesthetic design choices myself. just want something professional and a bit above industrial.

Thanks!

Since you're moving and adding fixtures you'll need to find someone to file this with the DoB, too.

Why do people on this site always run to the DOB? All the person is doing is moving the location of his loo and radiator. THEY ALREADY EXIST. No DOB permits required here.

Wrong KAZ. You can replace fixtures in the same locations without filing but if the fixtures are rearranged or new fixtures added, one is required to file. The OP mentioned moving a toilet and a shower and adding a washer/dryer and radiator. For these items a plumbing permit would be required, most likely one for a limited plumbing alteration.

Running to the DOB reminds me of running to the bathroom.

Debate above aside I recommended my guy to a Brownstoner and she met him, hired him, and the bath is just finished (2.5 weeks, from gut to complete). His prices are very reasonable for the quality of work. He's done many baths for me over a ten-year period, and I'm sure the other Brownstoner will be happy to provide a reference as well.

Post your email and I'll get in touch with you.

I would be more then happy to come look at your bathroom to discuss details and provide an estimate. I've had great feedback on brownstoner and I have been specializing in bathrooms/kitchens and tile work for over 10 years. I'm located in Cobble Hill.
