Any Thoughts on 341 Quincy
I was looking at 341 Quincy Street recently and was wondering if anyone had any information or thoughs on the property? I have a contract out on it.

Did you try looking up the history of the property on Property Shark or Dept. Of Building. Both are great resources for looking up the background of the property.

RE: "I have a contract out on it." So . . . you gave them an offer they couldn't refuse? (couldn't resist, sorry)

Bed Stuy is a great neighborhood, but it's got its hard-to-love parts. Quincy is close to Gates, which is a tough street, it's got a concentration of housing projects along it.
Chances are good that your block is fine crime- and quality of lifewise, but you never know. Have you walked around a lot at all hours of the day and night? Taken your future train commute late at night? Talked to your potential neighbors? If you haven't, then I would do that before proceeding, although you already "have a contract out" on it, so hopefully you've done this step.
Welcome to the neighborhood!

Hi everyone, I know I asked about your opinions on 341 Quincy street before but I didn't quite get the info I was seeking. In a nutshell this is the situation . I want to purchase my first real estate property, I have a Preference for4 or 3 family brownstones and limestones (dah, who would have guessed) in the Bed-Stuy, Crown Heights, Clinton Hill, Fort Greene , Prospect Heights Park Slope areas ( hmmm, my taste runs on the expensive side... Yes it is but my budget runs on the Brownsville side). Anyway, since I've never brought property before of course I'm nervous. This property is only 2000ft and rooms are strangely configured, would have to put some money into it make it rentable at market rate( refurbish floors, put in. 3 kitchens, 2 bathrooms, paint/tile, update electric, replace a few windows and would lime to convert to gas. I like the area it right between Clinton Hills and Bed-Stuy, I think it's An up and coming area even if it is a few blocks away from the projects at Gates. If Clinton Hill extands eastward it's going to run right into it, just my opinion. Any, I guess what I'm after are so
ethoughts and opinions on that area from an income property owner or tenant viewpoint . I believe it's worth the effort just need that final push. I 'm considering another property in Weekville ( not my target area) it's a 4 family (numbers work best with a 4) up and running, nothing major needed . to do (knocking on wood) but I don't know too much about Weeksville and I didnt like the look iof the area it was alright, I just wasn't feelin in)
