Window sash repair
Anyone know anyone who can do window sash repair? We don't necessarily want to replace the windows if we can avoid it, but the broken sashes are driving me nuts (just smashed my fingers in a falling window). Ours are vinyl I think, approx. 14 years old. thanks!

I've had several broken spring balances replaced on my 30+ year old aluminum windows by Art Glass, 6704 11th Ave., 718.833.7151.
It's not a cheap repair, but I think our triple glazed aluminum windows are heavy enough to take your fingers [or hand, or head] off if they fell on them

If you are handy - MUCH cheaper to repair the spring balances and shoes yourselves.

Hi, I do these. I am very busy at this time, but if this can wait a little while I might be able to fit it in. My prices are reasonable.

If you have broken glass in the sash or need to replace the balances...bring either items to:
All United Window
97 Classon Avenue
Brooklyn, NY 11205
(718) 624-0490
If it's a sash repair, bring it in early in the day, you can get it back within the same day. If you need help with installing balances...the representatives there can teach you.
