vacancies on president btwn 4/5
There seem to be a lot of rental vacancies on President btwn 4th and 5th.
At first I thought it was just 1 broker spamming craigslist for the same few apartments, but I've definitely seen listings for several different buildings.
Is something non-obvious going on there?
Walked by recently and it seemed pretty normal.
There are a couple larger buildings and some construction, a bar that looks like it should be in seaside heights, and I saw a decent sized rat running around, but nothing to drive away Brooklynites.

I used to live on that block. There is definately nothing worng with it. In fact it is very centrally located, quiet, pleasant, and near the subway.
There is the rather large rental building they put up a few years ago right on the corner. Maybe that is the source of a lot of the openings.
FYI - There is a known sex offender who roams around on President street. But everyone knows him and he typically hangs out on the west side of 4th ave.

that is probably the "elan"...a failed condo gone rental overlooking the mcdonalds on the corner of 4th and preaident

you are rught..there are so many failed "luxury condos" around 4th avenue that it is hard to keep track of them
