Recommend an attorney

A friend of mine is being sued by an ex-pal of hers who was her lawyer but dropped the case 2 weeks before trial. The complaint cites charges that look fraudulent & there are other odd things about it. Can anyone suggest a ligigating atty - Manhattan-based? No one we know has ever had to hire one & she'd like word-of-mouth input.

Arkady, isn't that snappy's area of expertise and if not exactly, she might know of some recommendations

Yeah, I was hoping she'd be on today but thought it wouldn't be kosher to post directly to her.
Thanks.

Arkady, I'm digging through my mental rolodex.... I'll have an answer for you today.

Snappy, for your privacy and Arkady's, perhaps you should email her directly any recommendations you have, especially if they're friends of yours.

Oops, I see you already did what I suggested before I mentioned it. Smart woman!

Arkady,

What is the nature or topic of the suit and how much money is at stake? If you want, email biff and he can forward to me, rather than posting publicly.
