plumbing

looking to replace main sewer line. Prestipino/ Figliolia have been recommened. Anyone have comments/experience with either?

Haven't used either, we like to recommend Main Man - 718-342-7900...very responsive, middle of the range pricing, excellent work.

Mainman replaced my water main and I second Brooklyn Plumber's recommendation and evaluation.

We had ours replaced with Aladdin. They did a great job, very professional, quality work, and finished in a single day. It ran $2950 for a 60-ft run. This is for the 4-inch sewer pipe in the basement, not the run from the front wall out to the middle of the street. That's a lot more, I'm sure.

Figliolia shorted my electric and ran away. I mean they finished the job after some pressing phone calls, but now I have to get an electrician to fix the temporary connection to my meter.

I think there are two Figliolia companies. I used Alex Figliolia for both my water main and sewer line (several years apart). They did a good job on both.

I just had my sewer line repaired by Main Man and they did an excellent job. I recommend them highly.
