tin ceilings
A FEW YEARS AGO BOUGHT A TIN CEILING FROM AA ABINGDON IN BROOKLYN. aNYONE KNOW IF THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS OR IF THERE IS A SUCCESSOR COMPANY? THANKS
Comments
I took a drive out to the store a few months ago because I couldn't get them on the phone. There's a for rent sign on the building. It looks like they're closed for good.

There's still a web site and an 800m number:
Perhaps another company took over the business, or bought the name.

With the new number, it looks like the switched over into an internet/phone order business.

Abbingdon has been gone for a while, and I don't believe the website's 800 number is a working number. Maybe you'll get a reply if you fill out their contact page, but not sure. There is a tinsmith in Bushwick that has ceiling panel inventory:
Standard Tinsmith Supply, 335 Irving Avenue, 718-821-4500, http://www.tinsmith.com/index.htm
Superior Tinsmith in Park Slope has a catalog on premises and will order panels: 282 6th St. (4th Ave.), (718) 499-0498, http://www.superiortinsmith.com/
