roses are kicking in

roses are kicking in

the irises and first set of peonies are gone, but three of the roses are kicking...the rest of the bed is none too shoddy as well

They look just beautiful, eman! What are those lovely gray-green plants with the purple flowers on the lower right in your photo? Lamium?

Once again, really beautiful, eman. Wish I could pick a small bouquet! Bet they smell like real roses, unlike what you buy in the store these days. When I am walking along the streets of Brooklyn, I really do stop to smell the roses! Please keep posting pictures as the blooming season progresses.

I think I see a couple of big foxgloves on the far left. How about a close-up of them as they come into bloom?

the foxgloves are the white spikes in the foreground between the dead nettle (lamium) and the variation of mounding lantana...the far left is a delfinium and something similar to a foxglove whose name eludes me (have to go through the pile of tags)..
