Overview of South Slope condos

I'd consider some of these more Greenwood Heights than South Slope, but who cares:

thanks 11217,

I missed a few of these in my strolls around the neighborhood. I went to the open house at 500 4th avenue a few weeks ago - Its slogan should be changed to "White Glove Service at Prime Park Slope Prices"

Also the huge building at 545 4th avenue going up (corner of 16th) should be an interesting one. I think it is supposed to be 120 units...Walked by the other day and they appear to be making great progress.

Only had 1 model unit open when I went - of course it was the 1.5 mil "Townhouse Unit" that was absolutely fantastic in terms of finishes, layout, etc.

Expect a lenghthy sales pitch about the amenities and such and then a tour of the floor plan room. Then get ready for sticker shock at the pricing, only to be "Softened" by an offer of 10% off if you sign quickly.

Still in all - worth checking out if you have nothing to do for an hour. I really liked the tile work in the kitchen and am thinking of using it as inspiration for my own kitchen.

Good Luck
