Need a brace for railing

I don't know if there is a name for this, but I need 2-3 of those spindle height floor-to-railing braces that sister the spindles and add a bit of stability to a wobbly railing. Anyone know what they are called and who to get them from?

Wood? Wrought iron? Indoors or out?

Indoor. The staircase, spindles and railing are all wood, but the piece I am looking for is iron -- this is for strength and stability. There is one along one of my spindles already.

I'd try an ironmonger such as Ricardo (718 499 1153)- I doubt you'll find them ready-made anywhere
