Are the fireworks viewable from Shore Road?

That will depend on where they will be fired from this year (it has changed over the years).

I believe the fireworks are on the Hudson this year.

The only place in Bay Ridge to get a glimpse, and I do mean just a glimpse, is from the top of the hill at Owl's Head Park. We tried it one year and they are so far away its not really worth going.

That's too bad. The Verrazano is such a beautiful bridge and has public space all along the shore there, it would be a perfect place for a fireworks show. Go figure.
