Gardener Needed

Any recommendations for a gardener that does not charge a lot. I do not need a landscape designer, just someone to mow the lawn, pull weeds and cut back tree branches. I have a standard brownstone backyard which I believe is about 18x35. Thanks.

There is a day labor hiring spot down on McDonald Ave and Church. Those guys will work for what you are willing to shell out.

Sheesh eman1234! I love to putter in the garden, too, but I can easily imagine someone needing a hand and still having a thoroughly inspired garden.

Francisco, he works for the parks dept. he did our front yard (cleaned up, planted a few new trees, etc.) and the neighbors liked him so much he did work for two of them. he shows up when he says, cleans up after he is done, goes the extra mile, plus reasonable prices.

sorry ..i did not want to sound like a dick, but i am slightly obsessive compulsive when it comes to gardening...today i spent time mulling over whether to replace the allysum in my window boxes with lysimachia aurea

Thanks to all for the advice.

@eman1234-you can mow my lawn, that might help your obsessive compulsive problem.
