Rec's for gourmet buffet?
I'm having family coming in from out of town and I would like to set up my own buffet for a party. I'm looking for a quality place that I can pick up prepared food, something really special. Does anyone have some recommendations for me? Thanks

If you can go with a middle eastern theme I would recommend Sahara on Coney Island Avenue. Otherwise, Wholefoods in Manhattan.

Try Garden of Edn on Montague Street--I ordered from them for a baby shower and the food was wonderful.....

Not sure if they deliver to you but the catered goods you can order from Fresh Direct are also pretty good- went this route for my son's birthday and was pleased.
