Looking for manufacturing space

Hey all:

I'm looking for a small mfg space, maybe 3000sft m/l. Prefer Sunset Park but am flexible. Anyone know a broker that handles this kind of thing?

You going to start manufacturing widgets, denton? Watch out for those Chinese.

Plenty of realtors who specialize in space like this. Drive around the neighborhood you're interested in, you'll see their signs on buildings. Here are just two:

Hey DIBS, we actually manufacture custom fluid sealing materials to be used in big office buildings. We're one of those small local craft-based businesses that can survive the Chinese. Been doing it a long time, my company has been around since the 1930s.

Vinca, I figured massey is too big for me.

Can't say for Sunset Park, but Massey's got lots of smaller properties in LIC. Nothing to lose by a call. Look at the Hentz site...also lots of LIC small properties with truck docks or drive-ins (and/or larger old-time industrial buildings with smaller commercial units available to rent). A fair number of commercial properties with for rent signs in Gowanus area right now.

check out the navy yard. Ask to speak to Tom.

Also google industry city - they pretty much own all those building by bush terminal http://www.bushterminal.com/contact.asp

try the brooklyn army terminal, which is run by EDC.

Check out the NY Industrial Retention Network (NYIRN) they keep a databse of available manufacturing spaces in NYC
