Tami....do you really think someone's going to be interested in your services when you're so annoying and irrelevant in your posting?? Use what little is left of your brain to post where its relevant.

Sorry Vinnies sucks, the weld on the hinge on my hatch was so poorly welded that it came undone. A weld should not break.

Stop using it to sneak those trannies into the basement. billy. :)
My welds are fine.

I've never had any ironwork done. A few months back I saw a beautiful job being done on 3rd St. near 7th Ave. by Ricardo's—impressive enough to make me stop and ask them for a card: Ricardo Iron Works, 718-499-1153. Whether Vinnie's, Ricardo's, or anyone else, ask them for references from previous jobs, and visit the owners to speak with them about the work and results. Try searching the forum archives, too.

Yeah. I've used Ricardo for years - he's good, reasonable & very skilled.

I like August at Artistic Wrought Iron in Coney Island. He did my front and back deck. He is a pleasure to work with. 646-739-6918. You can tell him Lydia recommended him.

Whatever you do, DON'T use Kenny's Ironworks. Kenny spent 2-3 hours talking my ear off, going into minute detail about the fence he was going to build for me....then I think he just subbed it out to some other crew, who showed up one day and installed some total crap. I wasn't home when they started the install, or I would have stopped them. Door swings the wrong way, hinges are cheap and started to buckle, AND they painted it with only spray paint. Kenny won't return my calls now...
