Gruber for No Action Letter?

I'm considering using Harold Gruber to prepare our condo conversion no action letter documents. His pricing is really good. Has anyone used him for this type of project? We're a four family, tenant sponsored project.

Thanks!

negotiated across a table from him. not my cup of tea.
remember, you get what you pay for in this town.

Worked with him a couple times. Does a lot of New Condos. His office is lined with Offering Plans. I couldn't say either way but the loans closed.

he was our co-op's lawyer when we moved in. very sleazy. never returned phone calls and had a whole slimy, used-car-salesman thing going on. we quickly ditched him for more reliable counsel. would definitely not recommend him.

He represented the people I bought from and he made the deal so difficult I almost walked away. My lawyer told me if I ever made her speak to him again she'd charge me double.

I agree with all comments above. I recently bought a new construction condo and Gruber was the Sponsor's attorney. From what I saw he does pretty sloppy work and pumps out formula offering plans like a factory. Also, difficult to communicate with, as he rarely returns calls or emails.
