cost of NEW 8 3x8x20 joist
we are facing to replace or support 8 joist size 3x8x20 due to water damage. Our contractor has given us a 24,000 price for replacement and moving all electrical wires . It breaks down to approximately $ 80000 for electric and the rest for joist. It seems high? Now my architect is trying to come up with a new solution But still it seems high any opions?

I recently finished a lot of beam work. I had two brothers do the job. If you want to see their work let me know. They make $20 per hour. Their work is excellent. How long could it take to replace 8 beams? Even at two weeks it would cost $3200 in labor
