Chase Refinance

My folks submitted paper work to refinance their home with Chase. It has been 3-4months since they have heard from anything. My mother told me last that when she called the guy said "There have been a lot of applications..." Is 4 months WAY too long for this?

I just closed at the end of March and started the process in December. It depends on the bank, the assignment department held me up. No reason, just sat on it.

You're lucky to find a pen that works at Chase let alone borrow money.

things are taking longer now with more applicants and less employees to process them. our took about 3 months and that's what our chase broker told us.

I just closed my refinance with Chase this week. My application was submitted in mid January. I heard the same thing, they are backed up with tons of applications.

The big banks are too busy to handle the business. They don't have an incentive to move faster or offer an agressive quote.

I would shop around and check turn times as well as rates since they have come down recently.
