Ceiling fans

Hi all - we are trying to buy some ceiling fans with an antique look, no lights and metal (or metal looking) blades. We dont like all the ones down Lowes and home depot who's lights look like boobs ! If anyone has any thoughts we'd appreciate.

Antique ceiling fans can only be improved by boob lights. Try Minka Aire.

Have you tried lampsplus.com? They have a pretty good variety of fans and allow for sorting by style, though I've yet to see a ceiling fan with a light that I think looks good. Also, check out this site: http://www.architecturalfans.com/

I second Minka Aire. I also have been pleased with their customer service.

Try Lamp Warehouse at Ft. Hamilton Pkwy and 39th Street. Basic Hunter or Casablanca fans look pretty much like hundred year old models and can be bought without light kits.
