CLAW FOOT CAST IRON TUB 4 SALE!

CLAW FOOT CAST IRON TUB 4 SALE!

MINT condition ANTIQUE CLAW FOOTED CAST IRON BATHTUB w/lux fixtures
CLAW FOOTED CAST IRON BATHTUB: This tub is in immaculate condition. Lovingly restored by Porcelain Industries, installed in a back bathroom… and never used (not once!) Unfortunately, we are now renovating and do not have the room; it has to go.
The tub came was intact when we purchased this over 100 year old Brownstone and cost over 1,500.00 to restore. The Strom fixture alone, a double gooseneck faucet and telephone –style-shower, is over $400.00.
Everything is intact and included. All you have to do it insert the flex hoses into the water lines and secure the attached drain to the sewer line. You can do it yourself in minutes.
The tub has an appraised value between $1,500 and $2,000.
We are asking 800.00 for cash and carry.
Hopefully you can make use of this beauty… and get a great bargain, too.

Are your floor tiles from american olean, the catarina line?

NO, These are hand-done marble floors. my husband spared no expense and did much of the work himself (taking over 20 years and counting!).

If you know of anyone who wants this tub...

This is a darn beautiful bathroom.

what are the dimensions of the tub. we are planning on going down a similar path and restore one in our house but if we can buy a complete one instead, would do so.

The tub has those nice rolled edges, making it difficult for exact dimensions... but 60" long x 30" wide 22.5" high- is close. it also has scalloped edged claw feet. the appraiser said he'd never seen them before. You are welcome to come see it.
I know purchasing ours is far cheaper than restoration. The faucet and drain apparatus is several hundred dollars. The refurbishing is over 1,000.00 now, too.
This tub was taken away and reglazed... not sprayed with that epoxy stuff in your home.
Let me know. I have only a couple of days to get this taken care of. Right now, it is taken out of the batrhroom and wrapped in a moving blanket in the hallway. My husband is sick of looking at it!

I know this is a few months too late but have you sold the tub?
