bluestone terrace
I'm looking for a mason who can make a bluestone terrace in my garden (stones to be laid on sand, not mortared. Needs to be a meticulous and careful craftsperson, as I'm planning a slightly tricky pattern. Thanks.

Try LaPietra Contracting. They bid on a bluestone job for us and came very highly recommended. We ended up not using them only because we weren't paying for the job.

try Sasa Adjuk 646-379-5204 i am an architect and have used him on many small jobs- he is very reliable and honest...all of my clients have always been very happy with his work.

Why'd you give the same recommendation of this guy on 3 different posts, all saying you're an architect and have used him... and in another, you recommended an architect you say you used on your apartment - you didn't use yourself if you're an architect?
Sounds fishy.

If you don't want to take any chances, then you should definitely try Modern Urban Design http://www.mudlandscaping.com . Make sure you speak with Jonathan Yevin directly. His group did an amazing bluestone patio for my building at a price i almost laughed at after calling 5 other more well known contractors. i was personally impressed with his breadth of knowledge and meticulous attention to detail. these guys are not laborers ... they are artists!
Their number is : 917-692-2054.
