Where should I get information?
I want to read and learn on basic topics which are important for my endeavor. I believe my best options are either by Internet articles or books..
If you nice people could recommand or direct me to which ones of these should I read, it will be great..
I would especialy like to find information in these subjects-
Mortages and finance
Taxing and financial planing
General building maintainence
Laws
If you have any ideas on other good subject I should know in you opinion then please share your thoughts.

the City schedules free seminars for first time home buyers. You can get some info on one of those. Look it up at the NYC Department of Finance page.
