Removing concrete slab
I have to bust up a 2" concrete slab in a bathroom, I've tried the heavy duty chisel and mallet route to no avail. Any suggestions?
Thanks a bunch!

I like the heft of a 16lb sledge and safety glasses with a bottle of Jack. Safety glasses and sledge are optional.

rent a large electric hammer, like the big yellow bosch, from a tool rental place

Try a jackhammer. It is used to break up concrete. You might be able to rent a small one to use indoors.

You should be able to bust it up with a sledgehammer and large pry bar. Give that a shot before renting anything more heavy duty.

I have the tools made for that and will be working in Brooklyn this week.

mod squad, I like the cut of your jib.
16-lb. sledge and a largish pry bar will make short work of this, like 15 minutes if your not a wuss.
