price my house?
wondering what price all the gurus out there would give, sight unseen: large (4,000+ sf) fed style brick townhouse, north slope, double duplex w lg owner's duplex/garden and upper deck, great detail but bathrooms and some floors need reno. 1.7?

Thanks, not ready to post pics, as we'd only put it on the market to buy something else (a bit dicey, obviously).
It has a big (lower) two story extension, so the size is unique for a 20 foot wide brick fed style house. Big yard, some detail (pier mirror, fireplaces, tile). Upstairs rental duplex is very rough, going to renovate, but has nice big deck. Large downstairs owner's duplex has nice country aspects to it but not renovated really in decades, just touch ups. Near subways (2,3 bergen is closest). Realtors put it at 2.2 a year or so ago, 1.8 two to three years ago. It'd cost 400K at least to make a triplex. Just trying to get a sense...

You are trying to get a sense of a price for something you overpaid for in a nonsense market? Well good luck with that! If it makes you feel good I would pay 5 million for it. If I could only get a loan for that amount. That is not going to happen especially if the keep showing house of cards on TV,
