Personal loan question

I know some of you are in lending business. What is the best place to go for a personal loan for about 15K?

Thanks.

Comments

Check with the major banks. Citi, BOA, Chase, etc. I have a personal line of credit with Citi and BOA for about 25k each. Terms are 8.99% for BOA and 9.9% for CITI. I don't use them but have them as an emergency line of credit.

It may be more difficult to get today as they are starting to limit credit lines.

I found some online banking that offers them as well but I'm not sure they can be trusted.

Thank you Adam

BE VERY CAREFULL OF GETTING A PAYDAY LOAN!!!

Do not do it. Stick to the big boys. I have heard horror stories on these payday loans.

You may be able to get one of those credit cards that will give you 0% for 1 year. Just watch out as they most likely have one of those 3% transaction fees.

You could also try your local neighborhood credit union.

Thank you. I did look into credit unions and they seem to have a bit lower interests. Also, I noticed that if you do not have an account where you take a loan the interest rate is higher. Is that normal?

What about credit.com ?
