Conforming Loan Limits

Does anyone know why none of the banks that I called today have picked up on the change to the conforming limits to $725,950 that is detailed here? They are all still at the $625,500 threshold. A little annoying when trying to refinance.

Where is "here"? I had not heard that the limits were raised. Can you provide your source/link?

Thx!

FHA has increased the loans limits for single families to $729,750. They are still $625,500 for conventional conforming loans. We're all very anxious for the increase at the banks as well. I will let you know when it is officially announced. Im thinking in April. sunny_hong@countrywide.com

We are mere days away from the new limits. All the banks are swamped with business and what normally would have taken days has turned into weeks.
