Bed Stuy House Tour Info Needed
I'm working on coordinating the post card with information about this year's house tours [the job is rotated among the various house tour sponsoring organizations]. I just learned that the contact person listed for Brownstoners of Bedford-Stuyvesant has passed away.
If anyone working on this year's tour reads this, PLEASE Email me at lmaecho[AT]earthlink[DOT]net. We need the following information:
Date/Time
Ticket Price
Sponsor/Telephoned Number
Website
I stupidly wasted far too much time sending repeated Emails to the former contact person's address, so there really isn't very much time to spare--my fault entirely, but the information is needed ASAP.
Thank you.
Bob Marvin

I've been trying to get in touch with those people for a long time as well. Would someone post any contact details. Thank you.

I recently sent an email to the address on the website and received a prompt reply.

Susan...I had tried that a number of times from my MAc laptop and it never worked. I just did it from here at the office and it looked like it went through
Thanks for reminding me

Bob, their tour is always the third Saturday in October, so that would be the 17th. The hours are usually 11-4. The prices have been $20 advance, $25 day of tour.
I hope you are able to get in touch with them.

Thanks MM--I KNOW that, BUT need confirmation to print it.
FWIW I just re-posted my inquiry on the forum of the Bed-Stuy Blog which I just learned about from a post on Brownstoner this morning.

Bob, good luck. I'm glad it takes a few years for coordinating this to come back around to each organization. It's a thankless job that takes much longer than it should.

You said it MM!
The last time I did this was before I was online--everything had to be done by fax. This time it's SLIGHTLY easier.

contact Crystal at Brownstone Books on Lewis Avenue. She is a 'brownstoner' and should be able to send you in the right direction.
