Personal contractor suggestions

looking for owners personal experience with past jobs. We are taking a 6-family to a 3-family in Park Slope and our project will over four floors and included 3 new bathrooms, new kitchen, gutting an entire floor, radiant heat in kitchen/bathroom and fine wood work on the parlor floor and painting the entire brownstone (along with standard minor odd items here and there). Looking for the contractor to be responsive, neat and finish the work in a reasonable time frame (i.e., always having guys on the job).
All thoughts/suggestions welcome.
Many Thanks!

I am an architect who has been reading but not posting. We have been living and working in Brooklyn for 20 years. I recommend 2 contractors. Heights Construction, Abdul, 646 235-2767, or John Leong, 917 579-4001. Both guys have been working in PS and the Heights for years, and can give you references and take you to see finished jobs. They have good crews of their own, but can sub out electrical and plumbing work as needed.I have used both of them for work in my own home, too.

I posted a few days ago recommending a contractor who just finished a reno on our brownstone in ft. greene. His name is William Callaghan-
Phone: 917-804-6178
email:callaghancorp@yahoo.com.

We had a really good experience with Liam and his crew. He was referred to us by friends who all loved working with him as well. He was at our job site everyday and was very honest and detail-oriented.

I have worked with J Thomas Construction based in Brooklyn. My experience with them was nothing less than amazing - efficient, reliable, dedicated and the best customer service I've received. The owner is JT Stewart and the website is www.jthomasnyc.com. The portfolio section speaks for itself...Give them a call.

Best of luck with your remodel!

Aside from all of the Contractors who are touting their own work and asking you to call them, you should call M.R.S. Construction and speak with Michael Streaman. Mike just finished the project in Brooklyn for This Old House, amazing job!!!
