Looking for an Architect
Wondering if anyone can rec a good architect in the Park Slope area
We are purchasing a building and plan on adding a floor on top of the existing structure
only 1100 FAR avail so it's not a huge job but we'd obv like someone who won't bang us over the head in fees!
Also plan on going as green as possible so an architect familiar with solar/wind is a plus
thanks!!!

BMF,
I'm an architect with an office in Manhattan, specializing in sustainable design, and I've done a number of projects in Park slope and the area. I am currently working on a new, two-family home in Windsor Terrace, with a planted roof, passive solar shading/daylighting strategies, environmentally friendly finishes and radiant floor heat throughout.
I would be very happy to speak with you about the project.

I am an architect in Manhattan. I am currently working on a townhouse alteration converting a floor into medical offices and two other floors into apartments. Our firm does Green Design which we can easily integrate into your project.
I would be very happy to discuss your project with you and give you more information about the firm.
Thanks,

We are doing a renovation in Carroll Gardens with Johann Grobler of Grobler Architects and are very happy with him. You can google his name to get all his info, he's in Brooklyn Heights and his pricing is reasonable.

I'd be happy to speak with you about your project. I am the architect of the first LEED-registered single-family house in Manhattan, and a Park Slope resident. Several rooftop projects and townhouse alterations can be found in our portfolio, at www.abelowsherman.com. You could send an email through the contact page of the website. And good luck - these are tough projects.

I am an independent Architect, lots of townhouse experience in NYC...the scale of your project is perfect for my practice.
I have been doing sustainable work since 1995, mostly passive, have built LEEDS projects and doing alot of sustainable 2nd homes outside of NYC.
You can reach me at ra@andradearchitecture.com (website under construction).
Thank you,
