Brownstone management
So, what do my celebrity neighbours and others who aren't around to maintain [sweep, shovel etc] their brownstones do? i presume they hire management companies... if one were to leave the country a lot this year, should they consider it?

I'm also looking for a reasonably priced management company, for a smallish Park Slope condo building. Brownstone Management sound very thorough and professional but are quite expensive and provide a more full-service package than we need. Anybody have any reccs?

If you know any local landlords, ask them, or try calling a local real estate investment club and asking for a couple recommendations on good property management companies. You may have to negotiate though, as property management companies often do a lot more work than what you'd need them to do, so consider trying to knock them down a little if they quote you a high price.
