2 Family Shell In Crown Heights

We are considering selling a two family gutted shell in Crown Heights North. Building has been painstakingly gutted and all original details have been saved. It is a 1910 brick and limestone building. We are wondering if anybody has thoughts about the best way to find a buyer for this type of property. We had hoped to restore this property but our capital seems a long time off...our loss! Thanks!

"...the best way to find a buyer for this type of property."

Put it on the market.

Thats it. Put it on the market at a realistic price since buyers will have to have cash only. Basically they are buying the lot with an unimproved improvement on it. That's how banks look at uninhabitable shells now - basically valueless and depending on the condition possibly a liability. The end is over for the days when people could get loans for these types of properties. Maybe a developer with a full pocketbook is looking (doubtful) but who knows.

basically 500,000 for the lot..and then whatever the facade is worth
