sheetrock estimate
I have a family member who has offered to sheet rock cracked ceilings in 3 small areas of my home (2 of them about about 10 by 7 feet and one is about 7 by 4 feet). I know he'll do a great job because I have seen his work in his home and the home of his parents. He said I could pay him whatever I think is fair. I have no clue. Any thoughts?

I would expect to pay a non-family-discount price of $1,700 - $2,000.

this cant be right... the space requires 3 sheets of 4x10 rock... 1200 sounds like a lot
