Our sale is not showing anywhere
We closed on our condo on August 7, 2009. Til this day, the transactions is not showing up on ACRIS. Could this mean it was never recorded? Should we alert our attorney, or is this no big deal?

I'm assuming it was in 2008?
If, in fact, that is true I would call the attorney ASAP. Deed should be recorded within a month, no later.

My experience with New York City is that the deed has probably been recorded, but not scanned into ACRIS yet.

There is no such thing as being recorded but not scanned. The deed is not recorded unless is already scanned in and posted online so call your lawyer.
the possibility might be that you have an a/k/a address and your property wasn't found. What did you come up with when searching? Where there any other record owners on that property or did you get "nothing found"?
Try to search it by the Block and Lot this way you get it all.
