Apt. Contractor Recommendation
I just wanted to drop a quick recommendation of a contractor who did some renovations on our apartment in Brooklyn. We had John Beers (found from a previous thread on Brownstoner) install baseboards, crown molding, door casings, custom doors, closet doors (closet entries needed major wall resizing as they were too large for any standard door) and other cosmetic changes. John and Ray did an excellent job on the work while staying within budget and on schedule. They were very helpful and creative in finding design solutions to help us transform our very outdated apartment into exactly what we were hoping for. We had absolutely no problems with John and Ray and to our surprise actually had a very good experience dealing with honest, intelligent, creative and skilled contractors. Overall, we would hire again in a second.
