Sealing Slate Countertops?
We installed slate countertops in the kitchen of our apartment. We would like to have them professionally sealed. Can anyone recommend someone who does this type of work? Much thanks in advance!

I had them and was told only to use mineral oil..it was a "honed" surface. The mineral oil always made them look great. They do react to citrus and turn white but not after an application or two of the mineral oil.

Tha's my recollection of care specs, too. Just mineral oil them yourself.
