Plaster issues
Does anyone have any recomendations for ceiling plaster repair ? We had a leak the other week and about 4 feet by two feet came down fro the ceiling. It includes some of the molding. Any recomendations would be greatly apprecaited.

I had my plaster ceilings redone by Mr. Joseph Rene a little over a year ago. They are still stunning.
I had recessed lighting installed in two already delicate parlor floor ceilings. A portion of one ceiling fell as the electrician was wiring the lights. This portion included molding which Mr. Rene masterfully rebuilt. The ceiling in my rear parlor had water damage and a section missing. Mr. Rene used tubing to shape the plaster and molded wood to emulate the missing plaster. He also skim coated and painted the ceiling once completed. Friends are still amazed when I tell them I had work done to the ceiling. They look seamlessly original! His price was also very reasonable.

Fitz did an amazing job of patching our ceiling molding sections, and he also shored up the rest of the ceiling. Very reasonable price, quick work, good cleanup. Totally recommend him.

I was also trying to find the right person to restore my plaster ceiling. I did some research and it looks like Creations in Plaster has very good recommendations for restoration of mouldings and plaster. Check out their website: www.decorplasterwork.com.
