J-51 Tax Abatement
Our small co-op applied a few years back but got held up by violations. We have fixed all the violations within the past year but our application expired and needs to be refiled. Can anyone help with recommendations of a company or law firm that we can hire to file our application and see the process through for us? Also, has anyone had experience in this area to know how much it should cost (again, all violations are resolved and verified with HPD)?

I've used Unger Realty Services before and I don't believe that they charge more than $2,500 for expediting the prices. It might be lower for smaller J-51's.
