Condo Units in Brownstones

Does anyone have information or a helpful source to find Brownstone owners who convert units into Condos?
Esp in the Clinton Hill/Crown Heights/Bed Stuy areas-

Craigslist is a disaster. I would appreciate any helpful info. Thanks

Are you asking where can you find condos (in brownstones) for sale in these areas? Try the NYT listings online, as well as the web sites for the real estate agencies listed on the front page of this blog.

The first place to go is to a lawyer to learn the financial and legal implications. I'd try

Bernd Allen
112 E 19th St
New York, NY 10003
212-353-0040

He's been doing this for 30 years and is an honest and great person as well as lawyer.
For construction advice, see if Accurate Building can help (800-640-8285). Larry Ubell has been on NPR frequently regarding old houses and is 2nd generation in his inspection business. He won't do work, but can give great advice.

Are you looking to create a condo?
You will need an architect who knows how to prepare a report and drawings as accepted by the NY Attorney General and then also additional items for NY city.
I have experience with condo Offering Plans, reports, inspections and drawings.
