Stained Glass to-order
Anyone know of a place / studio which makes custom stained glass window panels? I need a place that can do 2-3 small window panels (30in x 25in, approx) each with a different custom design.

There's a place on 5th Av around 1st or Carroll - just walk along 5th - it's on the west side.

There's a place on St Marks in Prospect Heights. I've never been there so I don't know what kind of work they do.

We used the guys on 5th avenue. They're great.

I second Alberts--they did an amazing job restoring someof our stained glass. He was so easy to work with...

Another rec for Alberts Stained Glass. They did stained glass restoration for us but they definitely do commissioned, new works as well (I've seen samples in their shop). They are the best!

I had Sunburst Studios make me a window. It was beautiful and not so expensive. It is on 3rd Avenue and 16th Street in Brooklyn.

For the sake of ease, the place of 5th Ave. is called Stained Glass Store - (718) 768-7964, 302 5th Ave. @ 2nd St. They also teach classes in stained glass.

What is a reasonable price to expect per sqft?

Update for stained glass: I went with Sunburst Studio on 3rd ave not far from Lowes. I am getting 3 windows, about 26 x 30 each, at a cost of about $675 each roughly. I am using their in-stock glass, not ordering anything special. Hopefully someone would find this useful.
