Looking to Buy a Parking Spot
Hi. We are looking to buy a parking spot in Park Slope (north slope near berkeley). Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks!

There is a garage on Union between 6th and 7th that sells spaces I think.
I thought I saw a space for sale for 75K in that garage recently.
Also, what about the tiny little parking lot behind the Ace Supermarket on the corner of Berkeley and 7th? Not sure if they have spaces for sale or not...

I am currently parked on Berkeley between 6th and 7th, I think in a Tuesday spot. I'll sell you my spot for ten bucks.

Just so you know, it was at one point listed for 100k, so if it's still for sale, perhaps you can negotiate

Is it me, or is using a broker to sell a parking space the dumbest thing ever?

If you want a private home's driveway or garage space, there are so few houses and buildings with private parking in Park Slope. There are monthly rentals in garages on Union between 6th and 7th, and on Union up near Grand Army Plaza. If you don't use your car every day, PLG is one stop South on the B/Q from the Park Slope 7th Ave stop, and there's a garage with monthly fees on Flatbush and Midwood, thereabouts. It's where the Zip Cars are kept. I don't know the fees but maybe it's cheaper than the Park Slope garages.
