Heights Woodwork

Has anyone had work done by Heights Woodwork recently and if so how did it turn out? The posts that I have read on here about them seem to be over a year old and it sounds like they were going through some type of reorganization then..we are thinking of having a window put in and restored by them and a small portion of a parquet floor restored. Any other recommendations for woodworkers in the PS/Prospect Heights area would be very much appreciated!

Hi, I used them to remake mouldings for different parts of my house and thought they were pretty good. I dealt mostly with Amor - who seems to know what he is doing. Good luck!

one guy came over to measure my windows and to give me a price. I kept calling them for four months for their estimate and they gave me the runaround. really bad company

We used them to replace our parlor doors and do various other restoration-type woodwork throughout our Brownstone. We dealt mostly with Neil, who was great. We read the bad reviews on here and questioned him anout them the first time we met. His answers seemed reasonable and so we hired them for our work. They did a great job making and installing the doors and the doors were ready very quickly-actually sooner than we needed them. I would recommmend them.
