Fireplace Hearth - custom size

I have a wood burning fireplace in my apartment and I'm looking for a hearth (glass doors) so that I can safely keep my son from crawling into the flames. The problem is that hearths that I've seen so far are too wide for my fireplace. The fireplace is approx. 27" wide, I looked at Lowes, their smallest width is 30". Does anyone know of anywhere to buy custom or NYC sized fireplace hearths?
