...The war will end soon when your BANNED!

That's funny. I thought that was your post What. The grammar and writing were just bad enough and the use of the only tangentially related photo seemed like your style too.

Its probably him.

...The war will end soon when WHAT is BANNED!

I love the What and hope he stays. Who else writes like him? But to answer the original question, it seems that hardly any of the homes featured in hodt are in real 'move-in' condition.

"Your a jerkoff What"

No I'm am jerking off.

"Im gonna push for you and Your IP adress to get banned."

"That's funny. I thought that was your post What. "

Naw Wasder, you should know my bait by now. I use Human body parts.

"Its probably him.

...The war will end soon when WHAT is BANNED!'

Calm down Asshat, breathe...

The What

Someday this war is gonna end..

BTW Look at the financial markets. This is gonna to be a fun day.

Nah--it's probably not the What. "Dablock0uk" seems to have come up with the revelation that it's possible to renovate old neglected brownstones about a year ago. For the life of me,I can't imagine why such a brilliant and original idea has received dismissive responses :-)

"Your a jerkoff What"

"No I'm am jerking off."

Ah, you gotta love The What! How can you ban someone who makes me LOL?

C'mon, for once the What is right. I hear that Asshat Hill carries complete lists of reno-ready brownstones, arranged by neighborhood market inflation and cross referenced by potential future rents.

And ... nybk01, I think you mean "you're a jerkoff," but you've got "your IP" down.

Your: possessive; You're: contraction of "you" and "are."

I'm with the What. Leave those nice old unrenovated brownstones alone!

Posted by: mopar at October 22, 2008 5:19 PM

Bob, I remember this poster. Here's what he wrote more than a year ago:

"I am in the mindset to start renovating old rundown buildings into beautiful brownstones, and need help with steps to do so *ANY HELP*?"

That's some mindset.

Must be difficult getting this brownstone renovation idea off the ground. Maybe that's why no one else has tried this before. Hopefully, if he does this, he will write in and tell us how it went in case others might want to try this too. I, for one, am curious.

Oh, and by the way, oldtimers know that the neighborhood's real name is Asshat Hills, not Asshat Hill.

Posted by: slopefarm at October 22, 2008 8:45 PM

What a mindset slopefarm. maybe there could be a website or two devoted to this here-to-for untapped concept.

Posted by: wasder at October 23, 2008 12:25 AM

Wasder, now you're cooking. Love this website idea. Maybe some reporters who cover the real estate beat along with a little preservation, land use and plain old house-lust, and forums where people write about their experiences in real estate and renovations and debate the relative merits of recessed lighting. It'd probably be popular! Freaking brilliant.

I prefer the gorgeous-but-neglected brownstones Asshat Heights, myself. Asshat Hills is already chockablock with strollers and audis.
