Trulia, Propertyshark, BedStuyBlog.com, craigslist, and the best method to find a deal - just walking around the hood and calling all the numbers on signs that you see and talking to neighborhood residents. You'll notice that if you stop outside a house with a for sale sign, inevitably residents will come over to you and start chatting about houses that they know about that will soon go on the market. Good luck!

HSBC has a loan program to promote home ownership in low income neighborhoods called Community Works. It's for first time buyers and the interest rates are usually 1/3 to 1/2 point lower than standard mortgages. I'm about to close on a loan with them for a house in Bedford Stuyvesant and have had a good experience so far, though it is a bit slow.

It may be helpful to describe the kind of resources for which you are looking. Financing? Brokers? Tips on where in Bed Stuy to look. Recent sales comps? etc. This will help you get more target (and useful) responses.

Cheers
