Radiant Floor Heating?

We would like to install radiant floor heating and are looking for recommendations on an installer. The previously damaged floors have been torn up so installation should be fairly easy.....we hope. We would want it installed on three levels, what is a good price estimate that we should expect?

Thanks.

Ummm I'm kind of interested in radiant heat floors as well. I wonder who does it well in NY.

We are using this in our bathroom floor in our current reno. It's pretty straightforward,

Thanks, I am looking for hot water radiant—it will run through out three floors, and I think electric will become very expensive to run….
Still hoping for some more recs!

We had radiant heating installed on all 4 floors of our newly renovated PH home and used A & D PLBG LLC Phone: 800-236-0700, 120 EVERGREEN AV BKLYN NY 11206. They did a terrific job.

We had spoken to several plumbers about radiant heating in our research and most of them tried to talk us out of it as they had no clue on how to install it and wanted us to go with traditional heating options which is what they were comfortable with. We are glad we stuck with radiant heating and found a contractor who engaged A & D Plumbing as part of our overall renovation. The radiant heating price was not broken out separately so I do not know how much it was on its own.

We have used it now for 2 winters and it is very comfortable heating that is distributed throughout each floor (both hardwood and tile floors) as it runs evenly under the floor. It is a pleasure to walk around with bare feet on wood and tile floors, not hearing the constant banging of steam/water pipes. We have also noticed our heating bills have been lower then previous years even with the increase of energy costs.
