Is it me or is this priced a little high?

It is priced ridiculously high because the square footage is grossly overstated, even by Corcoran standards.

A lot high. That gets you a fixer-upper on that same block. And then you have to factor in the delayed but inevitable price collapse of all NYC property (over the next few years). Don't be fooled by yesterday's sucker's rally on Wall St. If you're not looking for a bottom-of-the-market price, bid $1M and you'll probably get some action (if you're pre-approved/committed).

...fixer-upper brownstone that is.

It is insanely overpriced....look at the agents listings, they all are. I bet she gives the sellers an inflated price just to get the listing….

I saw this place and found the price laughable. It's not nearly as big as is stated (one of the bedrooms is tiny), the kitchen is small and not even very nice, it's on ground floor so you have no privacy, and the layout is weird (you have to go through a bedroom to get to garden). That broker is on crack to think she can get anything even close to this price, unless a totals sucker buys it.

It's RIDICULOUSLY priced. I saw this listing a few days ago, and was laughing out loud at it. I will be surprised if it closes for 900k.

LOVE IT!!!
Wish I could afford it!

I suspect AnneReal is a broker, given that one of her only other Brownstoner posts is plugging a Corcoran listing as "a much better deal". ;-)

Surely it is merest coincidence that this Ansonia property is a Corcoran listing.
