insurance while doing renovation
We are doing a gut renovation of brownstone and not living in house. will probably be more than a year before we do. We have Chubb now but very expensive. Does anyone have recommendations for insurance carriers, agencies or rates to keep house insured during renovation?

I'm in the same boat. I've stuck with Chubb, but it's insanely expensive, over $8000 per annum. And now they are making me install central fire and burglar alarm during the gut renovation. They are driving me crazy. Did you find any alternatives?
