Co-op Management companies

The co-op board that I'm on is pushing to change building management companies. I'm looking for reviews on co-op management companies in Brooklyn. Any suggestion, reviews, and/or feelings on the matter would be most helpful.

Picking a new management company is tricky. The first step would be to see what companies manage buildings near you and then research them. The magazing Habitat had an entire issue devouted to management companies a few issues back maybe you can access it on line.

Whatever you do, DO NOT sign with All Area Realty Services - worst management company possible. We're just going through the process of interviewing and signing with a new management company, so my sympathies. Check around in the area to see who lives nearby and is happy with their management company, then talk to as many references as you can to make certain that good service is not unique to any one managing agent at a company. Good luck!

Do NOT use Jalen Mgt. We have them now and I am about to start a petition to get them out. We are a 116 unit complex. Worst ever.
